Andrew Spann, Ph.D., Principal at Veryst Engineering, LLC.  Dr. Spann consults on industrial research and development, scale-up, and performance. Dr. Spann’s expertise includes fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, chemical reactions, mathematical modeling, and computational methods. 

 

Prior to joining Veryst, Dr. Spann earned his Bachelor’s degrees from MIT in Chemical Engineering and in Mathematics and his Ph.D. from Stanford University in Computational and Mathematical Engineering.  Dr. Spann was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Nanomanufacturing Systems for Mobile Computing and Mobile Energy Technologies NSF Engineering Research Center at the University of Texas.
